When Tecno Diamant opened a 750 m2 factory in 2009, in a strategic area (bounded by the Atlantic Ocean) of Brazil’s sun-kissed state of Santa Catarina, the company put down roots in the South American country. Ranking at the top of the international ceramics market for some time now, Brazil is one of the soundest, most flourishing arenas in the ceramics industry, despite the crisis caused by the pandemic, and has recorded constant growth in terms of both sales and local investments, and also international exports.
Specialising, as it does, in the production of diamond tools for porcelain stoneware, single-fired tiles, and natural stone, marble and granite products, Tecno Diamant is well aware of this and for some time now has concentrated on making Tecno Diamant do Brasil a significant production and commercial resource for its overseas business. The South-American outpost is in constant contact with the Formigine office, which is the company’s headquarters and provides support and a central point of contact for the provision of Tecno Diamant’s Italian-made products the world over.
For years now, Tecno Diamant has been meeting the needs of the Brazilian market (as well as the markets of various neighbouring countries, such as Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru), which has been showing an increasingly marked appreciation for enhanced and more sustainable ceramics processes, in particular as regards the quality, costs, and benefits of its own products. On this note, the Formigine-based company continues to produce and distribute some of its most popular products locally, including: resinoid diamond tools, which are indispensable for smoothing and polishing natural stone products; squaring wheels, which are designed to remove excess material from tile edges; as well as diamond brushes for smoothing and discs for cutting the various materials.
Thanks to its wide range of products (which are also developed with sustainability and environmental consciousness in mind), Tecno Diamant can therefore constantly interface with local manufacturers, offering them advanced technical solutions that anticipate the market’s needs and guarantee the best results in terms of production performance, efficiency, and custom options. Not only that, Tecno Diamant also provides a first-rate technical support service, designed to best support its customers throughout the sales process.
Expo Revestir -the largest event in Latin America dedicated to tiling and finishing- will be taking place in Brazil from 14 to 17 March 2023 and Tecno Diamant will be there with its own stand (n° B120 – Hall 1), raring to be part of this major international event.
