Over the last two quarters, the Spanish company Oxycomb Sistemas has continued to demonstrate why it is a benchmark in the sector in the field of energy efficiency. With the installation of its combustion control systems, its clients have achieved great savings in thermal and electrical energy, as well as better control of the quality of their products and a reduction in their atmospheric emissions.
In addition to doing so in the national territory, its leadership in North Africa has been strengthened thanks to the installation of four new BlueSky® RH systems in horizontal dryers of a major company in Morocco, achieving gas savings of over 15% and 35% in electrical energy. A success preceded by four other installations carried out last year in the same plant.
One of the most prestigious frit and glaze companies in Spain recently installed six new Optima® XFR systems to control the atmosphere in its melting furnaces, achieving greater energy efficiency and guaranteeing better product quality thanks to the control of parameters that influence the production process, such as %O2, CO and pressure.
Lastly, Oxycomb installed in spring a new Optima® XCEMS system to control emissions in the chimney of a rotary calcining kiln of an important company in the national ceramics sector. With the system installed, the client continuously measures %O2, CO, CO2, NOX, SO2, flow, particles, pressure and temperature. In addition to allowing better control of the process, it has also made it possible to considerably reduce the ELV (Emission Limit Values), thus far exceeding the narrow emission margins to which companies are subject.
