ONE OF 88
Gresmanc Group and Fearless presented O-Buit in an immersive experience where emptiness became architecture.
Last May, Gresmanc Group and Fearless hosted the exclusive event «One of 88» in Madrid, marking the official launch of O-Buit, the new modular ceramic system designed by África Macías. The gathering took place at the firm’s showroom on Velázquez 76 and brought together 88 carefully selected guests from among the most influential architects, interior designers, and designers on the national scene.
Conceived as a conceptual installation inspired by principles of quantum physics, the event went beyond a standard product launch to become a reflection on the relationship between architecture, perception, and void. Through O-Buit, an extruded ceramic system with an open modular geometry, the event explored how the absence of matter can function as a design tool, capable of filtering light, building atmospheres, and generating new spatial experiences.
During the evening, designer África Macías presented the conceptual origins of the system and outlined the formal logic behind the collection, which is built around a double-lobe mother piece from which the ring and the vertical oval are derived. Paula González, Marketing Director at Gresmanc Group, highlighted the company’s intention to present O-Buit not merely as a ceramic collection, but as a living system that responds to the presence and movement of the user.
Through this initiative, Gresmanc Group and Fearless reaffirmed their commitment to a contemporary architecture understood as a sensory experience, championing the role of emotion and perception in spatial design.
