From the collaboration with Seaqual Initiative for the launch of the first throw made with Upcycled Marine Plastic, to the Green Label line created with pre-consumer recycled wool fiber, and sustainable management of the chain of production, Lanerossi confirms its constant commitment to safeguard the environment.
Since 1817 Lanerossi has designed and manufactured interior textile accessorizes by starting with pure natural materials, crafted with painstaking care by expert artisans. From the plaids, the protagonists of the Lanerossi collections, to the blankets and sheets, as well as the pillows and towels, every product is the result of experience, tradition and a specific industrial approach aimed at the future.

The company’s commitment to environmental sustainability, a true cornerstone of its corporate strategy, takes concrete form from the initial phases of production, through:
- the use of recycled and traceable GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified primary materials, in the Green Label series
- a special attention on the selection of suppliers that guarantee responsible treatment of animals, in accordance with RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) protocols
- the use of energy that comes solely from renewable sources
- reduction of the carbon footprint by means of the elimination of chemical dyes and substances
- the implementation of technologies at the service of sustainability, such as the tearing machines of the latest generation
The collaboration with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE project
From 2021 Lanerossi has become part of the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE project, presenting its first throw made with Upcycled Marine Plastic.
SEAQUAL INITIATIVE works with NGOs, fishermen, authorities and local communities to help clean our oceans. Marine litter from our beaches, ocean floor and surface, rivers and estuaries, is collected by clean-up programs.
It is then sorted into different material types and the plastic portion is cleaned and transformed into Upcycled Marine Plastic.
Environmentally conscious brands and manufacturers then transform this new, fully traceable raw material into inspiring sustainable products for every aspect of our lives.
The Green Label line
Green Label is the Lanerossi collection that utilizes pre-consumer recycled wool fiber (recouped from in-house production processes), to ensure traceability of the materials, along with fine wool and Peruvian alpacas fibers in natural shades, free of any chemical dyes.
Every Lanerossi Green Label product can be recycled and go on to play a new role in the production process, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the common good and the future of our planet.
Lanerossi’s Green Label was created in order to offer products capable of conveying awareness and respect for the environment and the world we live in, maintain the focus on quality, fine design and research.
