On September 2nd the organisers of Formnext + PM South China decided to defer the fair in view of the current circumstances regarding the pandemic in Shenzhen. The fair was originally scheduled to take place from 14–16 September at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. New dates for the exhibition will be announced at the earliest opportunity. The decision to postpone the fair was made based on the evolving situation of the pandemic and with concern for the health and safety of participants. It was also deemed better to host the event at a later date to give all parties concerned the confidence that Formnext + PM South China will go ahead with minimal disruption. With key supporters and exhibitors voicing their support for the postponement, the organisers are now turning their attention towards confirming a new timeslot for the fair.
