Crystal BOHEMIA is a traditional manufacturer of Czech crystal. This tradition has started at the beginning of the 18th century and over time influenced all world glassmaking. Crystal BOHEMIA combine traditional glass production and the most modern technologies. Therefore, the production processes are constantly improving, so the customers get the best possible products. The company currently have two production plants, in Poděbrady and Světlá nad Sázavou. Thanks to this, it can provide customers with a wide range of utility, table, beverage and decorative glassware. Crystal BOHEMIA is one of the world’s largest makers of stemware, tumblers, whiskey sets, giftware pieces.
Glassworks in Světlá nad Sázavou
In 2020, Crystal BOHEMIA bought the former Crystalite Bohemia glassworks in Světlá nad Sázavou. The glassware produced here contains titanium, and the polishing is carried out with a flame. Thanks to that, it has great resistance to abrasion, breakage, as well as high brilliance and shine. Products are resistant to mechanical damage and customers do not have to worry about the glass turning gray even after many washing cycles in the dishwasher. Crystal BOHEMIA guarantee the preservation of the glass transparency even when using standard washing programs, unlike the competition, which recommends washing with gentler programs suitable for glass. This glass was created with sole aim of meeting needs of the HORECA market.
New stemware collections
Experienced designers are constantly coming up with ideas and innovations. Every year, new collections are created, apart from gift pieces, especially beverage glassware. The unusual, elegant curve of the Loxia and Gavia chalices fully highlights the beauty of the glass. The high thin stem gives Loxia a stamp of exclusivity, while Gavia is more suitable for the gastro segment thanks to the lower stem.
In addition to other glassware collections, there are also new Pavo Aqua tumblers. There, as the name suggests, water plays the main role. The bottom of the tumbler captures the moment of a drop of water hitting the surface. In combination with color, glass creates an outstanding optical effect.
