Change at top of Haug Sauer Kompressoren

Swiss manufacturer Haug Sauer Kompressoren AG appointed Bruno Garcia (40) as its new CEO. He will take over the sole management by the 1st of March 2023. Garcia has already been member of the management, that was lead for many years by now leaving CEO Beat Frefel. The company, which is part of the Sauer Compressors Group, also presented Emanuel Scheffknecht (43) as new Sales Director.

New Chief Executive Officer contributes a lot of experience in international management and an excellent know-how of the compressors industry. The studied engineer worked in the management of Haug Sauer Kompressoren most recently. In the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) he was responsible for product development, order processing, production, customer service, finances, and IT. Beat Frefel (55), who managed the compressor manufacturer for 22 years, leaves the company due to personal reasons.

Scheffknecht will take over the position of Sales Director also by 1st of March at Haug Sauer Kompressoren. The economist, who holds a doctoral degree, worked in leading positions for internationally operating manufacturers of medical devices and was the managing director of a trading company.

Haug Sauer Kompressoren AG, based in St. Gallen, is a long-established company, that was founded in 1896.
