Tecna international team stops off at Indian Ceramics

The Tecna team recently participated in Indian Ceramics Asia, the most important ceramics industry trade fair on the Indian subcontinent, held in Gandhinagar from 5 to 7 March.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships with local industry players. Ahead of the exhibition, the team also attended a series of institutional meetings in New Delhi to further consolidate existing partnerships.

These initiatives reflect the growing importance of India as a market for ceramic machinery, as demonstrated by its position as the third most strongly represented country at the last edition of Tecna held in Rimini in September 2024.

India is the world’s second-largest ceramic tile producer with a total output of 2.4 billion square metres in 2023, equivalent to 15% of global production. According to the MECS-Acimac Study Centre, Indian ceramic tile production is projected to grow by approximately 6% over the next four years.

Tecna, the leading international exhibition of surface technologies and supplies, will be held in the Rimini Expo Centre in September 2026. It is organised by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group in collaboration with Acimac.
