The Tecna team returned from Ceramics China, the leading trade fair for the ceramic sector in China, held from June 18th to 21st in Guangzhou.
At the Tecna stand, organized in collaboration with Acimac, the team met numerous buyers and industry professionals from the region, with a clear focus already set on the next edition in 2026. China remains a driving market: in 2024, exports of Italian machinery to China reached EUR 51 million, marking a +13.7% growth compared to 2023.
China is the world’s largest producer and exporter of tiles (by volume), with 5.9 billion m² produced and 600 million m² exported. The country’s production accounts for about one-third of total global output.
This was therefore a key event to reaffirm Tecna’s leadership position in driving the development of the ceramic industry of the future.
Tecna, the leading international exhibition of surface technologies and supplies, will be held in the Rimini Expo Centre in September 2026.
It is organised by IEG – Italian Exhibition Group in collaboration with Acimac.
