Para lograr un ambiente que evoca la riqueza de la capital omaní, se seleccionaron varias colecciones que interpretan de forma contemporánea los materiales locales:
– Lims: Recrea la calidez y luminosidad de las piedras calizas de la zona, utilizada en tonos marfil y gris para suelos de habitaciones y balcones.
– Kone: Esta colección de gres porcelánico con efecto piedra, de carácter minimalista, se integró en áreas como el Sawa Lounge, reforzando la atmósfera auténtica de Muscat.
– Etic Pro: Aporta la calidez de la madera de roble con gran realismo, combinándose con el efecto piedra de Kone para crear un ambiente acogedor y sofisticado en el restaurante y el lounge.
– Brave: Con su acabado de gran personalidad que interpreta la fuerza de la piedra, Brave se utilizó en el pavimento de los baños del restaurante, aportando un toque de carácter.

Atlas Concorde was the brand of choice for the surfacing of various areas within the prestigious Mandarin Oriental hotel in Muscat, Oman. This project, designed by renowned interior designer Xavier Cartron, stands out for its elegance and connection to the natural and cultural environment of the city.
Atlas Concorde surfaces were used in the hotel’s rooms, suites, bathrooms, the Italian restaurant «Essenza,» the Sawa Lounge, and outdoor areas. To achieve an atmosphere that evokes the richness of the Omani capital, several collections were selected to offer a contemporary interpretation of local materials:
– Lims: This collection recreates the warmth and luminosity of local limestones, used in ivory and gray tones for the floors of rooms and balconies.
– Kone: This minimalist, stone-effect porcelain stoneware collection was integrated into areas like the Sawa Lounge, reinforcing the authentic atmosphere of Muscat.
– Etic Pro: It brings the realistic warmth of oak wood, combining with the stone effect of Kone to create a cozy and sophisticated ambiance in the restaurant and lounge. – Brave: With a high-character finish that interprets the strength of stone, Brave was used for the bathroom flooring in the restaurant, adding a touch of personality.
