If you’ve designed or installed a breathtaking project featuring tile and stone within the past two years, you need to submit it to the 2026 Coverings Installation & Design (CID) Awards! This prestigious awards program celebrates outstanding achievements in the design and installation of ceramic tile and natural stone in residential and commercial projects.
By entering your top projects into the 2026 CID Awards, you not only showcase your expertise but also stand a chance to receive the recognition your projects deserve. As you finalize your submissions ahead of the December 1 deadline, explore these expert tips designed to help make your entries shine.
1. Enter your projects in the right category. With 11 categories to choose from, ensure your entry aligns with the most relevant project category. Two categories have been added, including artistic installation and artistic design to include projects like murals, mosaics and furniture.
Pro-Tip: You may select one additional category to enter your project into during the submission process.
2. Submit your best photos (and videos). Photos and videos are key tools our judges use to select winning projects. Please submit top-quality photos and videos and don’t forget to include in-progress photos, especially for installation submissions.
3. Add captions to your photos. Sometimes, it can be hard to distinguish the materials used in photos. Remember to describe, to the best of your ability, all surfaces and materials shown in the photos – even if they are not tile or stone.
4. Leave out no details. The details can make or break a project submission! If there were hurdles to overcome or extra steps needed to get the project just right, include it in the project description.
5. Submit by the deadline. Don’t wait until the last minute! The deadline to submit projects is Monday, December 1. Take your time completing your submission to ensure you use your best photos and descriptions.
