Roca Introduces Kay, a Sculptural Faucet Collection That Balances Strength and Lightness
Roca launches Kay, its new faucet collection designed by Stefan Diez, conceived as an architectural and timeless piece for the contemporary bathroom. Inspired by mooring bollards, the collection conveys a sense of silent strength and permanence, expressed through a refined geometry that appears to emerge from a single block. The interplay between its flat front and semicircular body defines an aesthetic that balances sharpness and softness, while the spout ensures a uniform and controlled water flow.
Crafted from cast brass, Kay is distinguished by a materiality that preserves crisp edges and smooth transitions, resulting in a piece as refined as it is durable. The collection is broad and versatile, comprising single-lever mixers in three heights, single-inlet versions, three-way options, and bath and shower solutions, all available in seven architecturally curated finishes. It also incorporates the Cold Start system, which encourages more efficient and mindful water use by defaulting to cold water in the central position.
In the words of its designer: «With Kay, we were not looking to add layers, but to distil the essentials. We wanted to transform the idea of strength into a precise and lightweight presence that would integrate naturally into the architecture of the bathroom.»
