Por segundo año consecutivo, Villeroy & Boch ha obtenido la medalla de platino EcoVadis, mejorando su puntuación hasta 94 sobre 100 (9 puntos más que el año anterior), situándose entre el 1% de las empresas mejor valoradas del mundo. La compañía ha progresado en las cuatro áreas evaluadas: medioambiente, prácticas laborales y derechos humanos, ética y compras sostenibles. Sus objetivos climáticos han sido validados por Science Based Targets (SBTi). El director financiero, Dr. Markus Warncke, destacó que la sostenibilidad es un factor estratégico de creación de valor.
En medioambiente, la empresa ha reducido un 34,5% sus emisiones desde 2021, evitando 9.500 toneladas de CO₂e en 2025 gracias a energía solar y acuerdos de compra energética. Apuesta por materiales reciclados y economía circular. En prácticas laborales, el 87% de la plantilla trabaja bajo certificación ISO 45001, superando su objetivo, y ha aprobado una política de diversidad e inclusión, con meta del 50% de mujeres directivas para 2028. En ética, el 97,6% de empleados en áreas de riesgo recibió formación anticorrupción, con cero casos confirmados. En compras sostenibles, el 86,5% del volumen está sujeto al Código de Conducta del Grupo.

For the second consecutive year, Villeroy & Boch has received the EcoVadis platinum medal, improving its score to 94 out of 100 (9 points higher than the previous year), placing it among the top 1% of rated companies worldwide. The company improved across all four assessed areas: environment, labor practices and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Its climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). CFO Dr. Markus Warncke noted that sustainability is a strategic value-creation factor.
On the environmental front, the company has cut emissions by 34.5% since 2021, avoiding 9,500 tonnes of CO₂e in 2025 through solar energy and power purchase agreements, while advancing recycled materials and circular economy practices. In labor practices, 87% of staff work under ISO 45001 certification, exceeding its target, and the company adopted a diversity and inclusion policy aiming for 50% women in leadership by 2028. On ethics, 97.6% of employees in high-risk areas completed anti-corruption training, with zero confirmed cases. In sustainable procurement, 86.5% of purchasing volume is now covered by the Group’s Code of Conduct.
